WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
As the caterers at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Athletes Village, Delaware North utilised CaterNut which had been deployed by Fiona Pelly to assist with the nutritional program for the Village. One of the aspects of the main dining area was displaying nutritional information for all menu items offered. In previous Games, Delaware North manually created nutritional cards by entering nutritional data for each menu item in a print-ready file template. Not only was the task onerous, but inefficient and costly.
With CaterNut, however, having access to the entire menu’s nutritional data online, allowed Delaware North the flexibility to create nutritional cards in-house in seconds. We worked with Fiona and her team to build an online template which replicated the nutritional card design and which could quickly be printed. Additionally, changes to menus and subsequent changes to the nutritional information, were available to view online, in real time. The website user interface was simple to follow with different sort filters available when viewing the menu. In my opinion, CaterNut is a game changer and Fiona’s plans for its continued development will make this a mainstay in the major events industry.
